§ 2 · How it works

Three steps. You stay in charge.

  1. Organise plans by activity, language and revision.

Start from the plans you already use.
  2. Review linked language versions and record approval.

Approving and publishing are separate steps.
  3. Publish one edition for guests.

Guides and guests open it by link or QR code — never a draft.

§ 5 · Questions

Before you ask

Who is responsible for the content of our plans?

You are. You write, approve and remain responsible for your safety plans. IcePlans organises the versions you approve and shows the published edition. It does not write, check, certify or validate plans and does not guarantee compliance.

Do you translate our plans into Greenlandic?

No. IcePlans links each translation to the revision it was made from and records your approval. Translation is not included, and IcePlans does not judge translation quality.

What do guests and guides see?

Only the edition you published, through its link or QR code. Drafts, pending revisions and internal notes are not shown on the public page.

What happens after I send the form?

Your request is stored and you see a reference number. We reply by e-mail with the full scope, taxes, currency and possible start date. Nothing is charged and no subscription starts unless you accept in writing.

Can I cancel?

The proposed pilot is monthly and can be cancelled before the next cycle. The complete cancellation and refund conditions are presented in writing before any commitment.

Does it work without mobile signal?

Not today. The demo and visitor pages need a connection. Offline access is not part of this pre-launch site, and we do not promise it.

Where would our documents be stored?

During this pre-launch phase no real documents are uploaded. Where pilot documents would be stored, and by which providers, will be stated in the written pilot terms before you send anything.

Is IcePlans connected to the Greenland authorities?

No. IcePlans is independent and not affiliated with the Government of Greenland or Visit Greenland. It does not send anything to authorities.

Regulatory context

Greenland's Act no. 62 of 25 November 2024 on tourism activities (§ 9) requires a written safety plan for each activity offered — a risk assessment and an emergency plan, kept up to date and available to tourists in Greenlandic and English. The Act applies from 1 January 2025, and its § 18(2) refers to 1 January 2027 for activities already run legally before then. An amendment to the Act has been proposed; whether it was adopted could not be confirmed when this page was checked (30 Oct 2026). Check the current rules with the Greenland authorities. This is not legal advice.
